Supreme Court Records Status Update in W.P.(C) No. 920/2025

Subhead: This update is issued solely on what is recorded in the Court’s order dated 11-02-2026.

Gurugram, India — 18 February 2026 — Safety Matters Foundation states that, as recorded in the Supreme Court of India’s order dated 11 February 2026 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 920/2025 (Safety Matters Foundation v. Union of India & Ors.), the Hon’ble Court has recorded/directed the following:

1. The matter is listed on 24 March 2026.
2. The Learned Solicitor General of India stated that a fact-finding inquiry, in accordance with international commitments, is under way and is most likely to be completed within three weeks.
3. The Learned Solicitor General assured that a copy of the progress report will be furnished before the Hon’ble Court and that it may initially be in a sealed cover, along with a brief affidavit of the procedural protocol followed so far.
4. The Hon’ble Court further directed that all suggestions contained in the additional affidavit filed by Mr. Kuldip Singh, learned AOR (Diary No. 33740/2025) be forwarded to the Learned Solicitor General.
